3x points at startrek.com I wonder how many people have that as a major spending category to justify the AF!

I was denied for this card last year. I'd pay the $39 just to have the design. I couldn't see myself spending $5k on it for the bonus, and not sure the bonus would be that worthwhile for me. I just want the design. (Yeah, I know, I COULD just get it on my Cap1 card....and this is about the only time I'd do it...even the Marvel card, on my wish list, has a use for me....but for this, I just want the design.)

It would be great if someone who already has one of these Star Trek cards, could explain how the points are redeemed.

Well I am in the garden and don't really need any more cards so I am going to pass but I do love my Yoda on my Chase Disney card I love star Wars more than Star Trek so I am happy

So $39 a year for a small image on a piece of plastic? I really don't get this, but obviously people do! Now if you spend $3,900 a year on startrek.com, then it's different: you get good value (but it might be time to reexamine your life)
