The secure card was initially SL $300.00, they automatically raised it to $500 after 3 months. I never paid into it i order to raise the limit. Then, they changed their policy and the card was no longer eligible to add funds to so its a permanent fix at $501.00. Thanks 
My thought on this is that by combining the Venture card (if I apply and receive) with my QS, will raise my QS limit. Then later on when I apply for new CL with a different creditor, I might receive a better SL. I came to this deduction by noticing that each credit card I have applied for after QS started me with the same SL given by Cap One.
Hope this makes sense.
Maybe I am wrong with this thinking? Perhaps someone with more knowledge on these things can chime in?
