Has anyone else opened a bunch of new accounts around the same time and had their starting limits all over the place? I can see what I currently have in my signiture. New accounts have ranged from $600. (Walmart) to $3k (Target). For some reason I just had the urge to apply for JCP. Was approved for a... $200. CL. $200.00!?
I've read that I can press the Love Button every 3-4 months so I'm looking at it as a card that might slowly grow and overall can help keep utilization % a little lower.
Will someone please put me in the garden with a BIG fence, lock it and hide the key so I can't get out for a year or so?
Oh, interesting note, my very first credit card in '88 was JCP. That's what started it all!

My ex-JCP card also started at $200, later auto CLI to $1,400 and called in for $2,000.
Now you have to call in to do CLI, JCP don't have luv button online anymore.

Makes about as much sense as figuring out FICO scoring.
Starting Score: 50409-22-2012 07:08 PM
