Starting Over

Here's The Backgorund To Clarify My Question....  I Have A House In Foreclosure, Car Repo, Charge Off Car and Cards, Collections, 30 Inquiries, etc...  All From A Previous Marriage/Divorce.

Now Fast Forward 3 Years, I'm Remarried And I Had Been Trying To Get Orchard, Cap1, Credit 1, Cards With No Success.  My Current Wife Has Amazing Credit With Super High Limits, So She Adds Me As An AU On A Few Accounts.  1 Year Later I Apply For Orchard, Cap1, Credit1, MTV(Cap1) And Get Approved For Them All.  Scores Are Only In The Low To Mid 500's.

So My Question Is....  Did I Get Approved Because Those Baddies Are Getting Older, Or Because Of The AU Cards Showing On My Report???  I Appreciate Any Insight Anybody May Have, As Well As Advise For The Future.

Re: Starting Over

IMO both factors both played a part in approval.
