Still no love from NFCU for Visa

Well, I decided after paying off my NFCU Visa and Navcheck (and putting a car maintenance and vet bill on it) to see if they would show me love. I was at around 14 percent ute.

Still got 3-5 day notice. Sent a message asking to cancel it because I did not want a HP. They responded within the hour cancelling it.

Bummer....still no love on my Visa. THen again, EQ is my worst one and I will have to sue them (and BoA) in order to get the incorrect stuff off my report.

Mmmmmmmm, there's had to be more to the picture here! What's your current limit, is that 14% over all your cards or just navy? How long have you had the card?

14 percent NFCU, 19-20 percent total ute.

10K limit, account has been open and in good standing since 1994. So almost 20 years old.

Re: Still no love from NFCU for Visa

I think I tried in September. Then they turned around and gave me a 15K Navcheck. They blamed my overall ute which was higher than 50 percent. Since been lowered to 19 across the board. I am trying to get rid of hard pulls for the time being. My freebies are awful but seem to count 9 car loan shopping as 9 inquiries. Have not had a bank pull in a long while.

Income is 93K. Somehow I doubt this is the issue.

Sounds like you just need to let them do the HP.

Re: Still no love from NFCU for Visa

What kind of "love" are you expecting?

NFCU alredy extended you 25k in credit, and you are expecting.......?

Be responsible, and the limit will grow with you.

Well OP canceled the request when given 3-5 day message on CLI request... that doesn't mean Navy won't give more credit, they just don't want to take the HP for it.
