Re: Student Cards vs. Regular Cards

Should I app for another card so soon, though?  I don't want to kill my score with a ton of HPs.  I want to get a gold card once my 30 days is up after I apped for a BCE.

Re: Student Cards vs. Regular Cards

In general I would say student cards are easier to be approved for, but will carry certain limits that the "regular" versions of the same card don't have.

For example, A Rep told me the maximum limit on my BoA Cash rewards card is $2,500 because I said I was a student on my application.

FYI-don't believe anything those reps tell you.  They don't know anything more than you do, and often less.  I believed something I shouldn't have and my subsequent actions resulted in a credit score drop of 40-50 points!
