Successful Bank of America Recon

I called Bank of America today because Chase keeps screwing with me, and Bam! Approved for $5,000 credit limit with 65 inquires. The only company I have found to be extremely anal about the inquires is Citibank. I have successfully reconed B of A, Cabela's, and Chase. I have accumulated a good amount of cards since the start of the New Year. I am telling you now is the time to apply as companies want to get a good start to the year. Just my 2 cents!

Congrats. If you don't mind me asking, is that 65 inquiries across the 3 major CRAs, or is that EX alone?

Re: Successful Bank of America Recon

I'm just nice and prepared. I answer their questions honestly. I have good answers to their questions. I also look at it like this. They aren't taking a risk on me, I'm a responsible person. Most people are scared and nervous when they call and that comes through over the phone. Especially to a credit analyst that evaluates people for a living.
