Successful Citi Recon?

Sorry if this has been asked a lot before, but I have searched this forum from top to bottom and haven't found a straight answer.

Has anyone had a successful recon with Citi? If so, what number did you call and what did you say?

I applied for the AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards card and was unfortunatly denied (still waiting for the letter toa arrive). The number in the backdoor thread would not let me get passed their front-line customer service specialists who you can barely understand, all I understand is they want me to fax over a new credit report... Didn't they pull one?

Fail.

-_-

Re: Successful Citi Recon?

The AT&T card is handled by another group, even though it is backed by Citi. You won't be able to reach someone that manages the AT&T card by calling backdoor number listed here.

Give a try to this number: 1-800-423-4343

Keep in mind recon means another HP, even when you faxed over your CR.

I'll give it a whirl later this afternoon. Thanks for the help. If they pull EQ, I'll be set for sure.

Re: Successful Citi Recon?

No luck with that number. It was for exisiting customers only and the phone transferred me over to the main Citi CSR. I'm really hoping there is something on the denial letter with a number that can help.

Thanks for the help!!!
