Hi Family!! This isreally the first time that I have posted to this thread!! My scores are finally going way up after all of my past yucks! I have a few cards:
Joint accounts with Husband
Jared $3800/0
JC Penny $1800/800
Walmart $1300/600
GE Lux $800/0
Individual Accounts
Jared $500/0
Walmart $600/0 - New
Target $200/0- New
Cap 1 $500/300
Household Cap 1 $400/0
I'm not sure what my true scores are (except **bleep** Friday ad and did a little drooling so I went ahead and apped.
Not surprising, I was denied... They said my score was a 229 in their range from 102-352. The automated message said the reason I was denied was because:
TOO MANY RECENT ACCOUNTS OR DEBTS ESTABLISHED
APPLICANT(S) HAS LIMITED ACTIVE CREDIT
LENGTH OF TIME SINCE MOST RECENT ACCOUNT OPENED
VERY RECENT INQUIRY
I was happy it was not because of old collections that i have, but I am wondering, will Capital One reconsider if I call?

From my understanding Cap 1 doesnt do recons.
