Looking for maybe one or two cards but from generous lenders. Any suggestions besides nfcu?
Depends on how many inquiries you have but credit unions are usually your best for high limits.

Make sure you dont have too many inqs, Barclay hates that from what I have read. How many is too many? I would say 10+
If you have a really good report try amex also
Barclay apple? Isn't that like a retail card for the most part?

It's a regular Visa that can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.
Macys American Express - you have to apply in store and you may end up with only a store Macy's but if good scores and based on your 6k citi, macys is backed by citi think you would be good... 2 accounts though and high interest but if you just want high CL Macy's Amex can grow rather quickly.
PNC
Sams Discover... once again apply in store and you may end up with only store card
Nordstrom but they seem to want to start most with store and make you shop a bit and then they will upgrad you at 6 months usually and they grow very fast if you keep asking.
Nationwide was hot for a while but they seem to be very fickle
Amex is usually good because of the 3x current cl on CLI's but probably going to require some charging and paying in full.
Amex and Barclays. Barclays has a lot of cards besides just Apple. You can check them out here:

Amex usually pulls EX and Barclays usually pulls TU. They both offer, what seems to be, higher than average credit limits and/or CLIs.
