Your CL is probably higher than you think. I don't believe AMEX approves limits that low...lol. CONGRATS on the approval but why did you apply early anyway? From my understanding, you already have an AMEX card. You could have applied in 2017 and still would have gotten backdated lol.

Nope. I got 1k starting limit and have seen a 500 on a delta card.

my dad got the delta gold witha 666 score for $1000 $3000 in 61 days though =)

I just called to find out the credit limit and it is indeed $2000 - you guys were right! :smileyhappy:

Does anyone with this card know how the setup with HHonors membership works? On the application it asked me if I was already a HHonors member and I selected "no".  Does this mean AMEX will set an account up for me, or maybe give me some directions on how to create one and merge it w/my card?
