It seems Capital One is changing. For no reason at all our second Capital One card ( in my name as the wife ) went from being a simple $300 limit to now $1800 out of no where. I just got the email. What the hell? It said it would go up to $500 after the fifth statement. I'm so confused.
We already have a Capital One through my husband which took EMAILING to get up to 1,000. Now it seems my credit card under my less than perfect credit is now higher than my husbands who has a limit of 1500. So... weird.
Did they change the way they give credit?

It certainly seems like they have unofficially changed their lending philosophy. They seem to be giving CLI to everyone.
And the EO is out on a mission to improve their cold and unyielding image. The reps there work very hard to make sure you walk away happy.

I had an Orchard Bank cc that has become a Capital One and I have been waiting MONTHS for this card to arrive. I sure hope they give me some love once it arrives. I have heard nothing but bad things about Cap 1 that I was actually considering cancelling it since it's so low!
