Surprise!!!! I got my US bak Cash+ Visa Signature Card today!!!!

Did you apply many cards for the past few months from major banks? If you don't , I wouldn't worried about it. I never looked at mine. By the way, what is you credit utilization? How many inquries on EXP? Ron.

No I haven't I applied and just received Compass Clear points Visa, through my bank. I do have USAA Visa but I have had it for a few years..On Experian I think I have 4-5 inquiries in the past year, total for the past 2 years I think I 11-12..Some of those are due to drop off in the next few months..

I just thought about this bc some banks you can only have the card if you live in certain areas and if I remember correctly US Bank is like that for some of their cards, is this card area specific? I'm in AL..

I think you should be ok. I got 6 inquiries within six months and 12 inquiries within 2 years. If you don't do apps spree, you don't need to check ARS. How is your credit history? Do you any late or past due? If you have, it might lower your chance. What is you AAOA? Do you have thin file? Ron.

Hi, Im thinking of applying for this card. I have about 2 inq with EX; 2 with EQ and 3 with TU from January, latest one is from MArch of this year.

All inquires are from home mortgage rate shopping.  

Will I pass for this signature card? or for sure denial?

I think you have a good chance to get approved. How's your credit history? What is your credit utilization? Do you have any credit card with US Bank? If you have, you might have better chance to get approved? Ron.

I have 10 years history. I paid off 2 car loans (1 in 2007 and 1 in 2010). No baddies.

JCP - 0/$600

Amex Zync - 0 balance; NPSL

Chase Slate - AU on DH's card; $1500/7K

Macy's - $0 balance/2k

I don't have any CC with US Bank. As you can see, I dont have much CC; I want to expand my CC list that is why I wanted to apply for this card as well as another card at the same time. Not sure if I will get approved for both though, ehehhe

Everything looks good. I see you don't use credit cards too often. They need to see some revolving history in addition of your installment history. You don't want to apply credit cards at the same time. They are very conservative. No one knows you will get approved. You have to try it. I didn't know I got approved when I applied two weeks ago. I got 12 INQs within 2 years and 6 INQs witin 6 months on my EXP. Either they will pull EXP and EQ. It depends where you live. Ron.

I was approved for the US bank Cash + Visa signature..My CL is $6000 and APR is 15.24%

So happy to have my foot in the door with them!!

So I finally received my denial letter in the mail. I was denied for two reasons:

• Credit bureau report contains a number of recently opened trade lines
• You debt to income ratio exceeds established maximum guidelines

I was so confused about the second one, so I called in again. The underwriters are factoring in my student loans (which are currenlty deferred as I am in graduate school) into my debt ratio. No other company has done that so far. If that's the case, I'll never get credit again!
