Congrats!

All this talk is making tempting me to add Target to my upcoming app list... I don't shop there often but the 5% might make their prices more appealing more often.  Must resist!

Wow thats an awesome starting limit. I truly believed  Target handed out pennies as the initial CL, I was proven wrong

nice to see them giving out some decent limits-enough to buy a decent big screen tv on.

Re: Surprised by intial CL

That's a great initial CL. Maybe the TD Bank takeover was a good thing.

My initial CL was $500 but got an auto to $900 4 months later. I do use the card regularly but always PIF.

Re: Surprised by intial CL

My sister usually goes to target but is affraid to apply because of the common low initial CL and the rare cli provided.

Re: Surprised by intial CL

In my own experience, I guess I never saw any issues with their CLIs, until reading these forums and folks being approved for small CLs or no CLIs.  My Target Visa recently got an auto-CLI of $500 to $5,500.  I don't use it heavily but their CLIs over the years have been sporadic.  However, I've never had to request one though, always automatic.

Hmmm maybe the new bank is changing things up.
