Re: Switching Everything to Alliant

Oh I am SO disappointed things didn't work out as you had hoped.  I read this whole thread beginning to end, hardly ever have the patience to do that, but your enthusiasm and positive attitude are so contagious.  By the end, I was really hoping with you.  Please hang in, you'll get there.  Wishing you all the best ...

Re: Switching Everything to Alliant

Thank you so much. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed too. I'm happy I got my foot in the door with a checking and savings account. I do plan on putting my savings and direct deposit at this bank so I can build a relationship with them. I just hate that it didn't work out the way I wanted it to. I am focusing on not applying until may of next year for anything. I'm done with credit. Just going to work on paying down debt. Thanks for reading you guys and Happy Holidays :-)

Ashkev89 -  What reason did they give you for not giving you one of their credit cards?

Did they tell you what your credit score was when they turned you down?

Re: Switching Everything to Alliant

I cosigned for a car loan with my sister and they included that payment in my dti ratio. I tried everything to prove that my income does not pay for that responsibility but they werent having any of that. The only way I can get what I want from Alliant is to have my sister join, which she is going to join, and then refinance her car.

Until then the answer will always be no.

Credit score was 652

All baddies (only 2) paid in full
