Synchrony BR, Gap and ON usage any any store

I thought I heard that the banana republic, Gap and old Navy cards coud be used at any of the stores for purchases and rewards accumulation.

Can anyone confirm that BR can be used at the Gap and Old Navy stores?

My Gap card works at BR, Old Navy and Athleta. I also earn rewards on it for purchases at those stores.

Yes, you can use the card at any of those stores. You can also redeem your rewards at any of those stores and also take advantage of any extra discounts for cardholders only at any of those stores.

Yes, they are interchangeable. Just used my Gap card at BR and ON yesterday...and the Gap card can be used at Athleta. The gap, on, and br cards can be used at all of those places.
