Synchrony Bank - Suspended Accounts

Thanks. I probably have around 30 accounts and with the exception of one credit card and a line of credit account, all my credit cards have a zero balance. Average age of accounts is about 20 years.  Some of my Synchrony accounts are several years old and the newest is about six months old.  I do have a small mortgage balance, a signature loan, and two car loans. The newest Synchrony account (Nautilus) I put $1,800 on it recently and paid it in full before the statement came out.  With regard to my other Synchrony accounts I never put more than $100-200 on any account and pay it in full before the statement comes out. My credit scores are just below 700 which is probably due a 4 year old BK .

Looks like you are doing the right thing with the accounts you have. Pif, is a great credit habit. The bk is there but many of us have had that on our records while having a sync account. From what i can see it may just be because you have 13 accounts. Perhaps when going over their clients records they look fow people with multiple accounts and perhsps thsts entered into their risk algorithms. This is one reason its recommended not to leave all eggs in one basket

Here we go again with synchrony (R.I.P) and lexus nexus bs.They are crap .They give u cards and large credit limits ,and then one day they say give it back we dont have the backbone for all the credit we give out .would never deal with them .

I still feel that this whole thing was brought on by LexisNexis, who probably had some great new state of the art risk management software program that they sold to Synchrony, so that they could also get paid to do all of the verifications, as well as to help them build their files on all of US!

They really haven't bothered me to much although they SP the hell out of me sometimes daily for months on end, then I'll have a little gap of where they don't even look at me

Sync is primarly TU SP's and HP. They have never pulled any other CB for me for any of their cards except TU
