I tried to add my store-only Synchrony Brooks Brothers card to my linked accounts on creditkarma. I can’t seem to find the right lender on their list, though. ‘Synchrony Bank Optimizer Plus – Bank’ doesn’t work, and the only other 'Synchrony' option is for CareCredit, which isn’t what I have (and doesn’t work, either). I can access the BB card account without any trouble through the BB website, so it’s not a password issue.
Does anyone know what the exact name of the lender I need to pick from creditkarma’s list is? Or do not all Synchrony cards link to creditkarma? Thanks in advance!
IIRC, the SyncB retail accounts had difficultly staying linked to CK due to their authentication. It appears they haven't resolved this yet. I haven't tried relinking my SyncB cards in a while
I actually made a phone call to CK a while back and they blame it on Synchrony.
I apologize for replying to this thread which is kinda old, BUT: the problem is Synchrony who doesn't like any kind of account aggregation. the PayPal card seems to be an exception, but for the most part, you're not going to get a GE(or whatever they call themselves this week) card to work in Personal Capital, mint.com, credit karma, etc.

Did you try Prism? I find that some of the Synchrony accounts actually work there?
