So i called CS and got the rudest CSR ever, like horrible tone of voice and everything. Originally i just wanted to update my annual income and was told "Why do you need to update your income?" I said back "Why do i need a reason to update my income?" I asked to speak to a supervisor and sure enough was told there is none available.
So my question here is should i contact EO about this? Do you think i will get an increase or is it worth a try because i have the same limit for 15 mos. also if someone could give me the EO address so i can send a letter that would be great.
I know that companies can close your card anytime but do you think they would close my card for sending them a letter about my CSR story and for asking a CLI?

I called them today as well, wanting to stir up the pot.
The representative cheerfully claimed I had a $9k limit at one point... well, ok, it was $10k, but when it's down at $500, who's counting?
She said she placed some marker about "priority" since they reduced my CL as an Adverse Action based on other CR activity. I said yes, this needs to get fixed because everyone else has been reinstating limits across the board, my financial situation has totally changed for the better, and this $500 limit was ridiculous. One of the key places I use my upromise MC is at target.com since I get the 5% off (like the Redcard Visa) but have a much higher credit line from Barclays, who seemed to despise me for many years.
I also asked if I needed to supply updated employment information, salary information... since it's dramatically improved, that should factor into their decision.
I feel like I was talking to a brick wall... so I have Citi and Target who work on computers that knew how to CLD, but now can't seem to CLI ever.
Interesting point - I asked if one could have the Target (store) card and the Target Visa (which I have)... the representative said one could have both. So, I may apply for a store card someday, to see what happens, since the Visa is pretty much worthless outside of Target now.

Has something changed with Target? For the last while it's been NO cust initiated CLI's. They SP you every 3 mos and they will give if they want to, and they usually don't want to. It would be nice to see a bump from 200! Come on, Penneys went from 150 to 3200 in the last year, come on Target.
Its rather depressing i applied for my Redcard in 2012 and got the $200 limit like everyone else which is sad compared to my other cards. My friend applys for the same card in 2013 and gets $2500....i think i will send them the letter. Worst case scenario i lose some AAOA which i have had the card for 16 mos in april. I will post if i have any luck so maybe you should write to Target.
Can someone send me the mailing information? Is it based in Minnesota? Because thats where i live, so i guess it would go quick if thats where its based.
