No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I noticed that Target has the regular REDcard and a debit card you can apply for. The credit card is a revolving line of credit but I'd like to stay away from it considering that I've seen many complaints about it.
My interest is in the debit card though which requires you to apply and then funds are directly drawn from an assigned bank account. You get the benefits of the credit card without the credit line.
My question is has anybody done this and if so, do they HP credit reports or do any kind of pull at all for this card?
I have both cards. You just need a voided check for the Debit Card. No credit pulls involved.

Thanks for the quick response!
When you apply in-store, can you use the benefits immediately or do you have to wait for the card to come in?
I used mine straight away and it normally takes a couple of days for the debit to post - I love the 5% without adding a tradeline :-) and I can still track my purchases online too...
Great! I am going to go and apply later today.
Thanks!
They give your a temporary "card" which is really just a receipt that gives you the benefits until your card arrives.
