When I first got my Target REDcard Visa like 5 years ago, I had over $2,000 CL. Then without any notification, CL dropped to $200 and I'm stuck with it ever since. Does anyone have higher CL than $200 on a Target Redcard Visa?

Sorry to hear. I have a Target Visa with $20K since 2001. Did you ever call to ask for CLI?
Ron.
Just awful.
Did it happen when TD Bank took over or before that???
I think it happened right after. I've asked for CLI many times over the years but they just ignored my request.
This is the message I got when I asked for a CLI recently:
"Thanks for asking about your limit! We're happy to hear about how you'd like to take advantage of the REDcard® soon.
Right now, we're not reviewing any Target REDcard® accounts for credit limit increases.
If your account qualifies for a higher credit limit in the future, you will see changes on your monthly statement and online in Manage My REDcard.
You're a valued guest, and we want to be sure you maximize your savings using your REDcard. Here are some different options:
- Pay as you go: Use your REDcard and take advantage of the 5% savings and other benefits. Then visit the Guest Services Desk to make a payment that day. Your credit will be available on your next trip.
- Pay two ways: If your Target REDcard account doesn't have enough available for a larger purchase, you can use two payment types. Charge a portion to your REDcard and get the 5% savings, then use another form of payment for the remaining amount.
It's great hearing from you! We hope to see you saving 5% at Target® soon! Click 'REDcard Benefits Program Rules' above for more details.
Sincerely,
Target Card Services, servicer to TD Bank USA, N.A."
