Target credit card

Hi, my score is 573, was 556 a week ago. I got approved for a new I love NY HSBC card, currently have a Macy's Capital One and Orchard Bank cc. I tried to apply for a Target card today and said that I can check back on my status, but it's still pending. DOes anyone know if this score will allow me to get approved or has anyone heard of a pending application that was actually approved??! Or did I seriously screw up and now my score will go down because of the credit hard pull and it's too many cards???? PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to the forums!

If you have a Macy's and Cap1, you're sure to get the Target Red Card.  Their normal approval process takes 2-3 days.  When I applied, they called me two days later to verify my identity and then approved me on the spot.

Starting CL is $200.  Supposedly they review for CLI every 3 months.

Re: Target credit card

I received immediate online approval for a Target card with 200 CL.  My EQ score at the time was 553.

Re: Target credit card

I appd online and was instantly approved for the standard $200 (Cheddar - still no CLI). EQ was at 631. DW did the same and got $200 instantly with an EQ around 604 (she got a $300 CLI at the first month; she maxed it out and got a CLI that day).

Re: Target credit card

DH got $300 on the Target Red.  I'm using it and PIF.  I shop a lot at Target, Wal-Mart went bye-bye now that I've got the Target Card.
