Target is one tough customer...

I'm doing my spring cleaning, etc.  I've been at Target almost everyday for the past week, lol.

My last sale was $25.80...declined.  I checked my avail. balance....$24.00!

Not a problem, just wanted to share!   I'll PIF next week.

Since my third statement is about to cut,,,,I'm hoping for a cli.

Re: Target is one tough customer...

I think Fish meant they only had 24 left on their avail credit, and they wouldn't go over by less than 2 dollars for that transaction... I could be wrong though haha

Re: Target is one tough customer...

You might get a CLI to $500 if you haven't received one already.

DW did the same and she went over by a few dollars. She then put something back and continued with her purchase. By the time the next statement was printed (which was her 1st), she got a CLI to $500.

Re: Target is one tough customer...

Was there a CD or any other AA that did this? Or were you not playing particularly close attention to your balance?

Re: Target is one tough customer...

Thought it is really bad, score wise to be maxing out cc limits? So in the hope of getting a higher score, why are you doing this?

Re: Target is one tough customer...

I've been throwing Target a payment every other week, so it won't report as maxed out.

Last month it reported as $200 and I actually owed almost $300, so I just pif'd it.  Now I'm back at it.  Target just has so much......wine, beer, books, cd's.......I can't resist!

Plus, I now purchase all of my kitty supplies there.  They're getting a LOT of my business.

I NEED a CLI!  I have tons of totes to purchase along with a patio set!

Re: Target is one tough customer...

Yeah, I get no love from them either.  I opened the card in August 07 with scores in the low 600's.  $200 CL.  I charge and PIF every month. Usually $200-300 per month.

Now my scores are in 700's...CL still at $200.  I hate this card!!!
