I've had a Capital One Platinum card for almost 13 years, it is by far my oldest revolving TL. The $29 AF is coming due and I never use the card due to the $1000 limit. I don't want to lose the age of the TL, and yes I know it will still report for 10 years. What are my odds of convincing CO to PC me to one of their "prime" cards with no AF? My AAoA is 8 years, FICO's are 783,788,789, income in excess of 135K utilization under 5%.
I would request a CLI online, then hit the "Modify Your Features" button to see what they offer. If nothing, contact the EO as your scores should allow you an increase and PC.
The online chat and CSR's are worthless, but social media works well.
I contacted them on Facebook last week to voice my displeasure over a CLI denial on my 1 year old $1500 QS card. I was denied for too many inquiries and not enough card usage.
They messaged me about 30 mins later and said I'd be contacted soon. I got a call 2 days later from a nice lady in the EO... we talked about 15 minutes and I requested a bump to $3000.
The next day I login to online banking and see they bumped me from $1500 to $2000. The EO called me back that afternoon to confirm.
Seems CapOne is hard to crack... but something is better than nothing.
I agree, the online chat doesn't work... Didn't for me. I requested my CLI thru the website and was successful, then immediately hit Modify Your Featues and both platinum card were upgraded to Quicksilver. I have never called Cap1.

That is crazyyyyyyyy!!!! ( obviously idk your situation but my goodness )
As far as PC, you should have NO problem PC'ing it to QS even for a Siggy, I would think. (Given that you have an impeccable score)
If that doesnt work then, hell with them, dump'em like its hot. you dont need'em, well maybe you do
Good luck.
