Re: Testing Chase waters again...

Outright denial letter, dated day after app. They never updated auto advisor. Cites old account, and no score/CRA info not used in determination. BLACKLIST STILL IN EFFECT.

Are you now planning to call backdoor number?

Waste of time, but I might as well, just to get a laugh from a csr.

Damn, that's disappointing. Might as well call recon, you have nothing to lose

Wow! I'm so sorry! I can't believe Chase blacklists for over a decade even though you finally paid the outstanding debt. Unbelievable! 13 years and still no love from Chase. That tells other folks reading this that if you screw up with Chase, you go on their hit list for real! I am still holding out hope that the recon will be successful for you. Keep us updated.

Re: Testing Chase waters again...

did you send letters to executive office? and the debt has to be paid in full, Chase is very forgiving they removed 2 charged off accounts from my friend's parents report last year after a goodwill letter + 100% payment check. Just wrote the truth of how her mom had to go to Vietnam for her mom's funeral and ended up staying there for 6 months to take care of her grandpa and somehow thought it was on auto pay.

Sorry! I thought you had it with the 3 pulls. Try to call and recon. It can't hurt.

Re: Testing Chase waters again...

i would call recon, write letters to their executive office, and even talk to a branch manager.

You paid off whatever you owed them entirely, although they could argue that they lost out on interests for that money for a few years. But paying off a bad debt is much better than running off a bad debt.

I am sure there'll be someone in Chase who's willing to reconsider your profile.

Re: Testing Chase waters again...

No recon. CH#7 is a killer for me, due to amount. Not worth revisiting the debt wiped, just to hold one of their cards.
