Thank you Navy FCU!

I am one happy lady:smileyvery-happy: I woke up to a text message from NFCU saying my UNSECURED n-rewards visa application was approved! I was ready to start the secured option but looks like I won't have to.  I only  have 2 open revolving accounts with very small limits (Cap1-300 and Orchard/Cap1-300). I've paid on time every month for six months so far and Navy Fed gave me $1000. CL. I want to see if they will consider a small increase  to the CL but don't want to seem too greedy. I've read a lot about how generous Navy FCU is and I am trying to rebuild with a current EQ FICO of 579. Do you guys have any advice/tips on how to use this new cc to maximize score and possibly receive auto CLIs from Navy Federal?

Want to treat NFCU good!!!

Starting Fico: 536 (3/12)--Current Fico: 647 (4/13)--TU Fico: 687 (4/13)--EX Fico: 617 (4/13)

Re: Thank you Navy FCU!

Awww congrats! I wouldn't push it with a CLI just yet. I would be soooo good about paying in full for a few months then hit them with the 'gimme more' button. I just did a post for NFCU love. They are an incredible institution if you can get in. I am both a member of USAA and NFCU. Are there better products? Of course. But nobody takes better care of their members. Nobody. *slap five* :smileywink:

started mid 500's. Disputed incorrect items and within a month or two my scores have skyrocketed and continue to do so
EQ: 674 > 689 >695 with my new TLs reporting :smileywink:
TU: 661>780
Experian(or as I call them, the devil) I have no clue, they haven't released my report
Goal=720 across the board--currently searching for the perfect *third* card to maximize my profile and score :smileywink:
