Thanks for all of your help!

I have been lurking on this site for months while gathering information. I hardly used credit cards and a few small cards with small limits. With the help of this forum I have been able to obtain the following cards:

Discover It

Lowes

Macys

Wal-mart

Paypal Mastercard

Barclays

US Bank

I am now off to the garden for the next year while I let my accounts age and grow by requesting soft cli. Once these accounts age and grow I am going to get rid of the following cards:

2 1st Premier

Orchard Bank * If Cap1 doesn't increase my limit

Continental

Welcome to the forum

Congrats on the new cards and your rebuilding process bravo. I also noticed you joined the garden to grow those seedling WTGSmiley Wink

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Thanks for all of your help!

Lot of cards with small limits. Try to get cli on those during your stay in garden. One year of good payment history would result in high CL on new card approvals.

PNC Secured 2000 (Dec12), Chase Amazon 2000 (Apr13), CapOne Newcomer 2500 (May13), Citi dividend 3000 (May13), Discover IT 1000 (Jul13), Amex BCP 6000 (Jul13), Chase Southwest 10000 (Jul13), Chase Marriott 12000 (Oct 13), BofA Travel Rewards 5000 (Dec13)

Gotta start somewhere, and Walmart cards don't stay small for long if used correctly and then simply asking for some absurd limit apparently Smiley Wink.

Welcome to the forums lissa!

You setup a decent number of diverse tradelines, that's a solid start and I highly applaud your decision to garden for a while as you continue to build your positive credit history.  Absolutely fantastic progress so far!
