Re: The Amex PRG 25K offer is back....expires 02/28/2013

The way I've heard it is that you can get the points as long as your 90 days out and it's not the same card.

I did not get this offer and I'm an AMEX member and opted in to receive these emails.

Which I guess is good because I'm supposed to be gardening.

As long as you have 90 days between receiving your last Amex card you can apply. I am beyond the garden, I am out to pasture. The only card I am holding out for is the Amex Platinum... If I so feel the need or urge... Or an offer I can not refuse pops up.

BearOSOSmiley Tonguerg and gold are different cards.

Also, i was under the impression your charge account had to be closed for 90 days before you could get the bonus offer. I may be wrong though.

Re: The Amex PRG 25K offer is back....expires 02/28/2013

I thought this was their standard offer?  What is it normally?  The offer feels a little weak considering the card has a $175 AF, even though it's waived first year.

I bit for the 50k offer with 1k spend in 3 months, I don't think I would have bit for this one.

Question - Is receiving this offer any form of pre-qualification or does everyone who signs up for offers get the emails?

I'd hate to get excited about this and then rejected!
