Re: The GREAT CC Payoff Challenge!!

Checking in. I currently have a $10,700 balance at 0% interest on a Chase Slate card. I've started throwing $560 at it every two weeks when I get paid. This is my only balance, so I'm hoping to have it paid off soon!

Single parent here, but will do as best I can between now and Feb 2015, if a new challenge starts in 2015 I will continue on until it is gone Smiley Happy

American Signature Furniture - $3,677

Speigal - $636

Walmart - $205

First Premier Bank - 253

Capital One QS - $934

My plan of attack is to pay off the smallest first while making minimum payments on the rest then on up to the largest and hopefully snowballing this debt.

Good luck!  Snowball is a great way to see progress. This is the only thread, I'm not sure how often folks check in but I've only checked in every few months. If there were monthly or even quarterly threads I'd probably check in more often.

@Pupeitmeister-  YES!  Nothing to it!  Now that I'm more conscious of it, I know I can tackle it.  And yes, I am happy to have the new cards.  Only cost me a couple thousand dollars.  Smiley Wink  I won't let this happen again, so I'm (kind of) glad it happened.

@ Rush--Two years will FLY by, you'll be credit card debt free before you know it.  We'll all be rooting for you!
