I had a few setbacks so far in January. , My truck Broke, was expensive to fix, I did get to take advantage of some NFCU BT offer stuff, which helped,
I opened a new TL with WF, for 5k, but the interest is 25.9, so I won't be using that after the intro period of 12 months 0%. I am using that as my Daily driver atm due to 5% on Gas, Groceries, and Drugstores, which is 70% of my spend. with 1% on everything else, which rivals my other cards rewards.

So It seems I am doing worse now then I was when I started... uggh.. That will be fixed within a few months, I have to get the new payment stuff organized. Either way, I AM paying less interest, by 27 dollars a month.. not much, but pennies make dollars right? The Dell card has to be paid off by 5/2014, or the deferred interest hits, thats my main target atm, that and the CashRewards. I did not BT that b/c the first statement cut hasn't even happened yet, I put my truck repairs on it. I don't mind letting NFCU get a few months of interest out of me since they were so nice on the BT savings, as well as the Initial CLs.. I want to treat them right so i can get higher limits in a few months... .. They saved me over 70.00 a month in interest by letting me take advantage of the 2.9 BT. SO.. Now i have to try to get 17k off of me by Feb, 2015. Its going to be a ride ... But I think its doable.. I am planning to put 900 a month towards this out of my salary, plus any bonus or Overtime money. If I can't get there, I will app for a BT card in December or January, and get one of those Offers of a BT to carry it into 2015.

Shameless bump!
Anyone have a status update?I have paid off my Amex, MSUFCU, and Citi.
Chase will report about a $230 balance and be paid off around the 6th of Feb...so I'm still on track!
Thats GREAT!.. It looks like you are going to be in great shape UTI wise for your next batch of apps when you come out of the garden!!..
Thanks! And it looks like you're on your way, too! Congrats!
Now, shuuuush, don't alert the ERT of my top-secret plans....
(It's really just for my 3x CLI w/ BCE)
Balance | Card | Limit | Utilization | APR |
$1,211.85 | Amex Costco | $5,000.00 | 24.24% | 0% until Dec 2014 |
$2,187.61 | Capital One Quicksilver | $3,000.00 | 72.92% | 0% until Aug 2014 |
I'm only counting carryover balances. I have a couple more cards with less than 300$ that I will pay in full at the statement.
I don't plan on paying any interest. I can probably get the Chase Slate if needed to do a BT or move balances around to one of my longer 0% APR cards. I haven't had any credit card debt in over two years though so I am really sad. But between moving for a new job and paying double rent for a while I racked up quite a bit.
I just got the Barclaycard Arrival and am attempting to get the bonus, but after that I should probably put away all my cards and try to go debit only, to make sure I'm not digging deeper. My "extra" paycheck in July (paid bi-weekly) should help me knock it down hopefully :-)
I wonder if Capital One will raise my limit... probably not. I need to focus on it first anyways because the 0% APR runs out first.

Cap One is not too friendly with the increases, but it is a Soft Pull, SO, if you want to try it I would recommend the EO route. just search it, there are hundreds of comments on Cap One EO... Either way, you have a 50/50 shot at the 6th statement cut from them IIRC. GOOD luck on that!!..
