We just joined last month and both of us were approved the day after joining. Look forward to having a long relationship with NFCU.

They opened up the floodgates a little over 4 years ago to all DoD employees.  It'll take getting burned by a ton of people before they pull in the lending standards.  Until that happens, look for them to continue to be generous.

OMG OMG OMG!

 

I did not think I was eligible to join, but I am.  I am located on an Army base working for a DoD contractor.  I applied to join and the session timed out.  So I called and it went through and confirmed membership!  After I got off the phone with L*** I applied online for the Visa Signature and wham, approved for $15k!!! I am so estatic!!

It does feel really good.  They were very nice on the phone when I called to get the APR. 9.99%.  I do not know which report they pulled or what my score was, but two weeks ago my EQ and TU scores were 680 ish.  2 hours into membership I am thoroughly impressed!

 

How good are they with CLI, are they Auto or customer initiated, SP or HP?

cli are SPs if approved instantly. if you get the 3-7 days then its gonna be a HP. i ask whenever i think ill get one.
