I Toshaa, promise not to apply for any new CC's until I pay off the ones I have!!!  I don't care how long it takes!!  I have gotten in deep and must dig myself out!!  I have way tooooooo many CC's with high utilization!!!  Goal for myself is to get the util down to 10%!!  I can and will do it!!  Cash only for a while!!  Thanks MyFico~~

Is there a suite for "involuntary credit apps?"

The single hard pull for the car loan two weeks ago resulted in:

2k LOC (checking) that is now reporting

5k unsecured MC that is not yet reporting

5k secured VI is now listed as 5k unsecured

12k auto loan

24k from a single pull?

Day number 41 of NO Scorewatch alerts.  I wonder if SW will even notice the 24k.

atlast......no apps, no matter what until March or April, 2009!

dh:The bank called today they want to give us a line of credit!

me: Um... we just refi'd the house, and the vehicle. We were approved on one credit pull for the vehicle, a visa with a decent line, and another line of credit with the cu, and a home depot card to help with home repairs etc. Nah, I'm good. Time to garden, pull my name off that sucker they can keep their loc!

Done with apping. Went from one sad little lonely Household bank card, to a BoA, Chase, and Delta Amex. All but the Amex on recons from what I learned here.

Since I'm starting grad school, I'll be poor. So no more apps for me until I'm finished, so at least 2 years.

Do I get kicked out if I app for CLIs? Or should I just sit back and wait for them?

I got my shiny new Discover card in the mail, so I'm done.

I hereby check myself in forthwith, and will no apply for any credit products until after I refi out of my ARM in April 2009.
