CONGRATS! That SOOO ROCKS! (Love the dancing cats, by the way).
Thanks all.
I know the waiting is gonna suck but on the upside, I beat the Discover statement by two days (it closes this Monday).
I also beat Cap One's statement closing date by 4 days and Amex by 6 days. HA!
I missed the Best buy deadline and the Credit One deadline though by about a week or two...so I will be stuck waiting for them to report til the middle of March minimum.
Of course this gives Equifax time to get with the program and eject the last baddie from my report. TU and EX both already have and I am sitting really pretty with both of them.
Fact is though, I NEVER would have thought about overall Utilization or calling to recon before I found these forums. I just assumed that when I got declined it was final and there was nothing much I could do. Now I know better.
Information is power ... well, when used correctly!
Aint that the truth! I am a pilot and the official regulation goes something like this:
"The pilot of any operation conducted under FAR (Federal aviation regulations) (pretty much ALL flights everywhere) shall be familiar with ALL AVAILABLE INFORMATION regarding such flight operation"
All available information is just an encyclopedia of stuff....and ALL of it helps us do our jobs better. The very same logic applies to Credit. In this information age, there is no reason not to know what is on one's credit report.
and its fun!!!
