Re: The number of American Express Centurion Cards

Google this:  how many people have an amex black card?

And here's one of the responses that come back:

Here's the numbers for outside of the United States, which is where the most Centurions are issued anyway:

  • United Kingdom: 18,500
  • Hong Kong: 13,500
  • Germany: 10,500
  • Australia: 6,000
  • Spain/Sweden/Italy/Netherlands: 4,500
  • Switzerland: 2,800
  • France: 1,500
  • Singapore: 1,300
  • Saudi Arabia: 1,000
  • Israel: 800
  • Middle East (other countries): 500

These numbers are from a press kit for the Centurion magazine ad sales in Asia and Europe, which apparently is distributed only to Centurion members.

Another response indicates anywhere from 30,000 to 100,000 members worldwide.  Not really all that "exclusive" any more, but still an object of desire!

Re: The number of American Express Centurion Cards

Hmmm.  I've spent between $250,00-$300,000 on my Business platinum card every year for about 15 years.  No invite for me yet.  Smiley Sad Not that I'd take it even if offered.  I'd rather keep the money I'd have to pay at the door....Smiley Very Happy
