I am really interested in this card but I have no idea what my current TU FICO is. My last score from 2 months ago included very high util and a collection. I have since had the collection removed (it was a medical collection and I got it removed using the hipaa process) and have paid down my balances.
I know there is no direct correlation between FAKO and FICO scores, but my CreditKarma score is 704 (was 628 2 months ago) and my USAA FAKO is 709.
Maybe i'll wait about 2 more weeks for chase to report my CLI which will lower my util even more before I apply for this.
OK, I've glommed three threads into this one, and there are probably some more out there.
Enjoy, everyone.

Thanks for the clarity and organization
Gonna call the recon dept. today - I didn't see a TU hit this morning, no monitor alerts. Hope my decline is due to misfire on credit report as if their requirements are true to form, I met all of them. They stated 'credit score of 680 or more' (assuming FAKO) so I passed that. Utilization overall is pretty good. Already a heavy paying customer with them...
Still don't get what's so special about this card.
All I managed to read was 8% APR... which if you have a 25% APR but don't carry a balance, really doesn't mean much.
1% on cash thingy, okay, I can get that, but I don't often withdraw from a credit card...
So what else is there? I'm seeing a lot of buzz over the internet over this card, but still haven't really seen a why?
Is it because of the 680 to get it?

Profit sharing is what I read that stuck out.
Oh, and they supposedly let the cardholder have the 'say' in changes or whathaveyou.
*update*
Barclay rep said systematic decline was due to having enough credit with Apple Barclaycard....calling back after i unfreeze TU...will update..

Allocating $2000 from my Apple to the Ring...but hey, an approval is an approval, right?
Lady indicated that credit lines are interchangable at any time.
Well, not a full blown approval - they ganked $2000 off my BarclayCard and allocated it to the Ring. Still glad to be in this club as the benefits are tremendous.
Welcome to the ring.
Are you able to see more information about the benefits and profit sharing and such on your account now that you're approved? I'm sure I'm not the only curious one.
I'm VERY curious, because I keep seeing people pine over this card, but all I've found is a low APR as one of the benefits and the 1% on cash "transfers".
