I was checking my balances while working on next month's budget and almost every credit card website that I went on had the "increase credit line" button calling my name. They are like "Hey, I'm over here... push me... you know you want to...". No.... I.... must..... resist.... at least for another 6 weeks!
My Wallet - Barclay's - $3700. Target - $3000. Cap 1 - $2500. Merrick - $1000. Orchard - $950. Walmart - $700. JCP - $200.

I'm Old Greg! You've seen my downstairs mix up!
Was actually on a tv show, before it ended up on youtube.

I feel like they are just teasing me, lurking me in, getting me to touch them and then... denying me!

I know the feeling....I had just gotten a cli with walmart and then about a week later, I saw someone on here posted that the love button was up and working so of course I went right over and clicked on it out of curiousity (never clicked one before lol). I knew they would not give me an increase but I pushed it anyways. It said I would have to call and then yesterday I got a letter saying I have not had enough experience at the limit I have now....oh well *lol* I REALLY want to push the one with Discover but yesterday's statement cut was my 2nd one so I know it ain't happening but the 0% interest I have on there would be great for Christmas shopping but I don't want to max the card out.

Maybe you just have to push them in the right spot!
Does pushing the button have any negative affect if you aren't granted an increase (aside from your pride taking a little hit)? Like I've had two Walmart statements cut since my account opened. I know it's early but... maybe?

My understanding is that they dont impact you negatively, other than your ego.
