I would wait to be on the safe side....but if you really need it now I think you have a decent chance. Waiting will probably get you better results.
AFAIK...online or in the store makes no difference.

Apply in the store. Nordstrom will not give you an instant decision online because of the id verification requirement.
So this makes chances of approval better?????
