So in addition to the 13 cards in your signature how many cards do you have? if you opened 14 new lines 3 months ago and have an AAoA of 5 years, you would have to have an additional 20 lines of credit with an average age of 8-9 years. If thats the case, perhaps thats why you are being rejected, 34 lines of credit and would surely be over 100k of credit can surely be seen as a risk...

well i closed i think 7 of them

You opened 14 accounts and closed 7 of them within 60 days? THAT would certainly raise some eyebrows at citi, especially when you add to it your 27 open lines. Makes it look like you dont know what youre doing.

 

Can you combine some balances and scale back the number of accounts (though adding more account closures within such a short period would still look odd)

This is like a novel every other day. In any case...I think it might have to do with the BK he has from a few years ago. I've seen Citi be picky about that (some get in...some don't) It is possible he burned them and he doesn't even know it...which means he might be blacklisted. It is also possible he has created a mix of stories he can't remember which is true anymore :smileyvery-happy:
