Thinking about a Discover or DCU

After I close on my home I am considering apping for a couple of cards, would love your opinions....

i am looking for something bk friendly (chap 7 in 2008) with a rewards program that might give me a good CL. So far I'm leaning towards a DCU card or Discover. Anyone know if these are bk friendly and have good rewards? Any others I should consider?

Thanks!

Re: Thinking about a Discover or DCU

I have them both and my bk is from 2007.  Opened up DCU in September and Discover in December.  DCU gave me over 7 times the limit than Discover, but that's because Discover is more conservative.  I'll just have to wait a while to see how Discover does with CLI's.  Good luck!

Oh and check out whogavemecredit.com

Re: Thinking about a Discover or DCU

They pulled EQ for me.  But take a look at that website I posted for you and you can see which scores people had when approved, the CLI's and other pertinent information that will give you a better feel.

Re: Thinking about a Discover or DCU

DCU pulled EQ for me too.

I was approved with only 5 months of history with no Ficos generated, but my files squeaky clean though.
