I feel I'm at the point where I have enough revolvers from prime lenders now where I can pick and choose having good cards. I have Capital One's Quicksilver One with a healthy annual fee of somewhere around $60. My CL on this is only at $900 which is my lowest limit. I think I'm going to call customer care, and if they won't upgrade me to a non annual fee version, I will close this account. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Have you tried reaching out to the EO yet?
I got my AF removed for good, still dont use the card but hey saves me $59 a year. If they wont do that I'd close it, 1.5% isnt worth the AF IMO.
How old is the card? I agree with contacting the EO if it's been open awhile.
You can also try through Facebook.
That's the thing... I got this upgrade to a QS1 not too long ago, maybe in December. Not sure if they'll upgrade again so soon, but I'll try!

Keep us posted, good luck!
I also urge you to contact EO, either by email or FB message. Someone will call you from EO and discuss your options with you. A few months ago I spoke with them and and was told that they couldn't PC my card from QS1 to QS or permanently remove the AF. However, others here have stated that they were able to get their AF permanently waived. They did credit me for the AF on two of my cards. I will be contacting them again when the AF hits requesting it to be removed/PC again. So, hopefully you can at least get a credit for the AF and request a CLI.
Good luck.
