Time between Chase apps

App'd for both CSP and Ritz within the same week. I was initially denied the CSP at first but approved after recon (5k). Then insta approval for the Ritz (12k) a couple of days later. I do have a checking account with chase that had a balance of 5 or 6k in it when i applied. I think that possibly helped get the CSP app through, not sure though.

Everyones situation varies but I used Chase's prequal site for about 2 months until finally one day I got a message saying I was prequalified for the Freedom and Slate card back in November, I instantly jumped on the Freedom card as I had wanted one since forever. Then 4 months later, one week ago I apped (even though the website says I had no prequalified offers) for he CSP and got it, then just a week later (yesterday) I apped for the Marriot Premier Signature and was approved for that. All 3 cards were instant approvals, Im sure having a Chase Checking account helped out, and even better they used only one HP for both my CSP and Marriot card. Good luck

Does using Chase's prequalified website with the result being an approval of one of their offers and your acceptance of the offer ALWAYS result in a HP or are their cases where a only a SP is done for a current cardholder???

The prequel is SP but if you accept the offer and apply it'll be a HP for sure. At least I've never seen anyone say other wise. On the other hand if you apply for more than one card they tend to use the same HP.

I app'ed for a CSP and was instantly approved on Tues (3/25) for $9000. The next day (3/26) I app'ed for the Ritz and was instantly approved for $13300. One HP on EX.
