Hey there everyone!
I guess from being approved for the Discover It card for 1,000 it flipped a switch somewhere!
Got an offer in my email for a 1,500 SL Credit One card... With a whopping $75 annual fee.
According to the pre-quel email, there is no enrollment fee(s) this time...
( When I had my Kohl's card for 2 months, they offered me a card.
I gleefully accepted, but researched it the next day and immediately closed it because of the fees.
So my immediate reaction to them is 'BURN IN MY TRASH CAN!")
So, instead of immediately annihilating it to nothingness; I thought I should ask someone(s)
who know the ways of credit that work for thin files :-).
throw it away! you wont regret it! promise!!
I agree throw that mailer away. You don't need them, you have Discover. They are a bottom feeder lender and you are doing better.

Are you sure it doesn't say *up to* $1,500? Because I've gotten mailers like that too.
Ahah! It does say that, thanks :-).
IN to the trash bin it goes!
*cackles*
With a $1500 CL you will hardly be able to use it enough to pay for the AF. Toss it.
Kill it with fire! and NOW!
As somebody said you have Discover card already. No reason to go backwards and get a Credit One card. If you need another card go check Cap1 pre-qualify or Chase or almost anyone but Credit One.
Even if it said $15,000, don't do it!
Just ignored it! When you have prime card, why you need to worry about some subprime thing? If you search 'Credit One' you hear only bad stories. I know sometimes it neccessitates to go for sub prime cards , but in your case I believe you don't need to!! Just grow your discover card ( good utilization and ontime payments), your credit profile will grow along with it! Also discover will do good CLI, if you put good utilization on it and pay ontime. Good luck!
I had a Credit One card for about six months. My ONLY reason to get it was because I was fresh out of a bankruptcy, and they seem to be one of the best out of all the bottom-feeder unsecured cards (at least they only charge an annual fee as opposed to an annual fee plus an application fee). I trashed them and got a Capital One Platinum as soon as I could.
