Thank you. These are my first EVER CC's. But, I'm cleaning up the husbands credit so we can both apply together on the home loan we hope to get next year around this time, and I'm having to clean his DUE TO CC"S! So, I'll handle mine with lots of care, lol.

No laughing here considering that's exactly what I now have in my wallet. Cap1 Plat Credit Steps and now the Walmart card

Not laughing at all.
WM is GREAT because of the free monthly FICO plus it will grow nicely as long as you treat it well and I have nothing but good things to say about Cap1 considering it's because of their secured card that I'm in the position I am right now. Without my first Cap1 card I'd still be living on cash instead of well into my rebuild.
Usually about a week and they're in. How's the cleanup on the DH's report going?
SLOW!
My Capital One Card took about three weeks to show up. (ETA: It was a secured card...maybe the regular ones don't take as long.)
As did my CreditOne card...I applied on the 6th of August and didn't get it till the beginning of September.
Out of my rebuilders...the First Savings and Show cards came the quickest...in a week. (ETA: Oh yeah, HSBC/Household card came in a week as well)
It depends. I got my USAA card in like 5 days, including a weekend. Walmart store card was about a week. My Amex took about two weeks, and my US Bank Visa took the longest I think, nearly three weeks.
