Too Late To Recon?

I apped for the Sallie Mae World MC about 2 weeks ago and was denied.  Reason was debt to income ratio.  My debt load is 0 except for student loans and whatever balances I had reporting at the time (less than 1% UTL).

I didn't even consider calling to recon until now... but is it too late to recon?

Re: Too Late To Recon?

Eh, no dice.  It wasn't another HP, but since I don't have taxable income (student currently) they won't give me the card.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to the Sallie Mae card too since I don't go over $250 in gas and rarely go over $250 in groceries per month.  I have BCE though, so I'm really only missing out on 2%/3% respectively... which I think comes out to $12.50 per month assuming I hit the $250 mark each month (which I don't).

Re: Too Late To Recon?

Barclays can be quirky depending on the circumstances.  You can always reapply in 6-12 months if conditions change and if you're still interested in the Sallie Mae CC.
