i applied for additional cards intially to improve my credit, like i said, i only had one prior. since then my fico score has improved and my only fear now is actually hurting my credit by showing too many and not so much a fear of being able to manage them all. I really appreciate your responses, thanks all! I believe i'll give it a try....
