Toyota Credit Card, #?

Does anyone have this card? good limits?

Does anyone have a number to check status of an application?

Yes, they sent me pre-approval thru mail last year. I applied and got message: wait 7-10 days messages. I didn't check the status and they reported to Experian about a week later. They pulled EXP and got approved for $7750. After six months and called to ask for CLI over the automated system. They increased to $8250.

I heard this was a signature card, so imagine you would atleast get a decent limit.

I applied for the Lexus Visa card (same company but probably different qualification standards) in Aug 2008 and got the '7-10 day' message.  A week or so later the card arrived in the mail with a $25,000 CL.  Unless you just have to know I'd just wait for the letter.

The card is a Signature Visa product but it reports differently than most.  It reports as a revolving credit account with your Credit Limit.

lexus is through usbank, is the toyota card backed by usbank also, I thought it was toyota bank?

or has lexus been taken back by toyota bank?

US Bank used to handle Toyota's accounts, but all documentation is now either Lexus Financial Savings Bank or Toyota Financial Savings Bank.  I believe Toyota set up their own financial system a few years ago to handle financing for Toyota/Lexus/Scion, and their consumer credit accounts.  You won't see US Bank referenced anywhere in the documentation for Toyota or Lexus credit card products.  US Bank may still administer the program for Toyota (not sure about that), but Toyota Financial owns the show.

Just checked my last statement and it says, "The creditor and issuer of the Lexus Pursuits Visa is Lexus Financial Savings Bank"

I found a couple of numbers. Maybe Cardmember services can see if you are already approved and if not maybe they can transfer you to the credit department. PS Its issued by Toyotal Financial Services with a mailing address in St. Louis Missouri. You can apply for instant approval at authorized Toyotal dealerships and if approved you will receive a temporary card for immediate use at the dealership.
