Transferring CL from one GE card to another

I have a Rooms-to-Go card with a 6K CL that I haven't used in 3 years and a CareCredit card with a $3.7K CL.  Is it possible to transfer part of my CL from the CareCredit to the RtG card?  Also, does GE allow product changes?

$10K ~ 01/2014
$15K ~ 10/2013

They don't allow PC or credit line transfers.
BUT it's fairly easy to get a cli. Just callCredit Solutions, ask for a big cli, then if approved-close the other account

I see.  Do they do soft pull CLIs?

Do store cards report differently than regular credit cards?  I mean, do you get a "boost" is your score from having a store card or two as opposed to having nothing but regular credit cards?

Re: Transferring CL from one GE card to another

Fico doesn't differentiate.
Ime, no scoring model can really tell the difference, but a credit analyst can tell the difference, or at least they claim to.
Carecredir does HP for cli.
Typically, GE will just sp ya for a cli, but it's always a safe bet to ask. Ive had just about every GE card except the two you mentioned... Lol I had $10k+ limits on like 8-9 diff cards with them. Closed some, reduced the lines on others.

RTG and CareCredit generally pull Ex for the CLI's.
