Transferring payments between 2 chase cards?

I totally spaced out and thought i pushed payment on my CSP but insteasd did it on my Slate card and this payment was through the app and with my Chase Checking account. I called them today and they said they could transfer the payment but just wondering can they do that? After dealing with horrible customer service in the past few months I tend to be skeptical about CS so im just wondering can they actually do that?

I imagine it's possible, but no doubt it's dependent on how good your CSR is.

It'd still make another payment on the Slate for at least he minimum to make sure you're covered in case they do bork it up.

The min isn't due to the 28th and i wanted that charge to go to my CSP not my Slate since the slate has a 0% APR till March 2016.

Wait, are you adding a new charge to a CC, or making a payment on a CC? Big, huge, difference there. Please clarify.

Re: Transferring payments between 2 chase cards?

No I meant payment .... I posted a payment on my slate card that I meant to pay to my csp. I did this on Saturday and didn't notice it till today. I already stated this in the original post ... I called and they said they could but I'm always skeptical with CS based off my prior experiences with CS in general

Re: Transferring payments between 2 chase cards?

Ok, yeah, it's possible, since the checking account is also at Chase, but this is why I don't trust the mobile apps. All CC payments happen on a real computer where I can get the full picture of what is going on. Even then I bolox it up sometimes.

Pay the minimum payment early, pay it often, pay it again if in doubt, I've found Smiley Happy

Sorry, I had them backwards, but the overriding principle still applies: make an additional payment to the CSP for at least the minimum to make sure you're covered in case they bork it up Smiley Happy Even if the payment due date isn't until the 28th.

Chase website is horrible and I find it much easier to use the mobile app on my iPad or iPhone. This is the first time I had an issue like this.

Re: Transferring payments between 2 chase cards?

It is possible and I have done it. Had a zero balance on my United Explorer card when a refund posted to the account. Asked Chase over SM to transfer the negative balance to my CSP and they did it no questions asked.
