Travelocity Amex by Barclay's offer/cli denial

Ehh.. Barclay's is starting to annoy me.

After six statements, I did not get a cli :-(

So then today I check my my mail, and I have BT checks with a 3.99% apr til 07/2013 and a 4% fee. Lol

It's weird cause most of my cc debt is held with them (4600$ @ 0%).

It's worth noting they used a sp from 9-15-12, which said my FICO was 637; I know for a FACT it's more like 700.

Can I recon that cli denial?!?!

What I might do is use some cash from savings to pay it off, then write myself a check with the 3.99% checks hahaha!!!!

Re: Travelocity Amex by Barclay's offer/cli denial

I would recon through the backdoor, and speak to a credit analyst.  Barclays uses a Transrisk score, which is a FAKO.  I don't pay any attention to it, because my real FICO is  almost 100 points higher.  It did freak me out when i saw it for the first time, so i pulled from here to make sure.

Current Score: EQ: 787 TU: 818, EX: 833 (Plus)

Why would you expect a CLI after only 6 months?

Re: Travelocity Amex by Barclay's offer/cli denial

I would expect it bc many users here have reported such an occurence, and while I'm def'ly not entitled... I feel like there may have been an error on my report at the last time of sp'ing from Barclay's. Furthermore, my true FICO, debt to income, and excellent history would permit a cli on this account even if it has had high util ...only account with high util, but I was a sucker for a 0% offer...so I'm American LOL :-P I've been making $300-$700 payments the past couple of months btw.

Yep, I'lll just call the Credit Analyst num in the morning... The CSR in good ole India actually gave me the backdoor number I already knew when I explained my situation to her.

Btw, I'm planning to pay at least a couple more thousand on this account; I just hate that it's messing up my util on this one account. My overall util is still only like 12%.

Thanks :-)
