I would wait a little longer. Chase seems to like new accounts being at least a year old, and you have several under the 6 month mark. I would suggest that you wait til around Christmas time.
I think you have an ok shot of being approved, but I think limits might be on lower side. If you really can hold out some more, make on time payments, you'll be in a great place for a higher CLs. It's good to have a plan for what specifically you want, know why you want it and apply strategically. Then you won't itch so bad cause there is an end game in mind.
After reading all the comments I think I will wait. The itch I had this morning is gone. I do need to think of Christmas and if I apply now I will only receive small limits. I'm after the big boys, so I will wait until around November to pull the trigger and I know there will be better offer out there.. I'm not in no rush and my GOAL is around the corner..... Thanks guys. I will keep you guys posted.
One more piece of advice: if your charge-off was January of this year, it might be better to let that negative slumber for a year before applying. I was denied for Chase Freedom with a 6-month old baddie, but approved with no hassle after it had aged to a year.
It would be worth to garden for a bit. The charge off from this year is still quite a bit fresh. Chase likes at least 6 months of prior use with a clean report. More so at least a year for people with any negative account info on their credit report. But before you do decide to apply, get your balances paid down before the statements cut so it doesn't look like you have a few cards that have high utilization.
I'm going to have all my balances at zero excpet for one which will be below 20%... Your right about the chargeoff I need to let it age a little longer.
@coldnmn wrote:6 months and all your new cards and inquiries may put up red flags for getting new cards in the short term. In my opinion garden your current cards a minimum of six more months to show some payment history. Applying for to much credit to soon makes you look desperate for credit. No credit company is willing to extend large credit limits if it appears to be a sinking ship in my opinion.
In addition to the above advice, I would concentrate on GW letters for your baddies. Three recent COs and 6 new TLs are hurting your profile

That said, you should be extremely proud of how quickly you changed your score in such a short time. 173/100/163 points in 7 months is remarkable.
